Rapeseed oil is a natural oil extracted from rapeseed seeds. The seeds are cold-pressed and transformed into a high-quality base oil. The oil is neutral and has no scent, making it a perfect base oil for massage oil.

Unlike many other base oils, rapeseed oil offers excellent value for money and is rich in vitamin E. Vitamin E, also known as the youth vitamin, helps with cell rejuvenation. Additionally, rapeseed oil contains plenty of omega 3, 6, and 9, as well as vitamin K.

Benefits of Rapeseed Oil

Because rapeseed oil is so rich in vitamin E, using it on the skin offers many benefits. Some of these benefits include:

  • Antiseptic properties: it is claimed that rapeseed oil has antibacterial properties, disinfecting and sanitizing the skin.
  • Slows down the skin aging process: due to its high vitamin E content, the oil helps slow down the aging process of the skin.
  • Improves skin firmness.
  • Accelerates the production of elastin fibers and collagen: elastin is an elastic protein found in connective tissue, helping the tissue return to its original shape and size after being stretched, pressed, or deformed. Collagen is a protein in the body that is part of connective tissue, holding organs and tissues in place.
  • Contributes to the natural regeneration of skin cells: this is the process of building up, breaking down, and changing the outer layers of the skin. The skin is essentially replaced, aiding in wound healing.
  • Hydrates the skin and restores water balance: dehydrated skin is one of the main causes of skin issues, making the skin feel rough and tight. Rapeseed oil helps hydrate the skin and restore its water balance.
